All of our products are produced by hand on our equipment here in Providence, Rhode Island from the minds and imaginations of our team and fellow local artists (unless otherwise noted!). We ship around the world, are available for local pick-up, and aim to have items ready within 1-3 days (we are a working printshop, after all…). If there is anything you are looking for but do not see in the categories below, or if you need to have an order expedited, please contact us directly and we will see what we can do! Many of our products are available in locally here in Rhode Island (Craftland, Waterfire Arts Center), let us know if you are interested in becoming a wholesale partner.

Yes, we print on pencils! Your name, birthday greeting, campaign slogan or self help suggestion can all be appreciated on a pencil. We will cast your phrase in hot metal type on our Linotype machine, and use that type to imprint the foil onto your pencils.
After choosing the quantity below, you will be prompted to select the details (pencil and foil color, typeface, etc), choose a payment method, and your order will be under way!
Please limit your text to 25 characters or less. We will cast your type exactly as you have it entered, so please proofread carefully. If we have any questions once we receive the order, we will reach out and let you know.

The 2026 Linotype Lunar Calendar is here! Keep track of the 2026 moon phases all year long wth the annual typesetting Mt. Everest challenge, this year cast in Antique No. 1, and printed in silver ink on French Paper’s Pop-tone Pink Lemonade cover. Text at bottom by Ece Temelkuran, excerpted from her new book Nation of Strangers, to be published by Cannongate Books in the UK in February 2026.
All of the type was cast on a Model 31 Linotype at DWRI Letterpress in 8pt and 18pt Anitque No. 1, set in fully justified 30 pica lines.
