The Eighth Wonder of the World!

The Linotype was the worlds first automatic typeseting/casting machine, invented by Ottmar Merganthaler in 1885 (and called “The eight wonder of the world” by Thomas Edison. It is an ingenious machine with 3000 moving parts from the height of the victorian age of engineering.
