Well, it is now truly and actually September. I have no idea how that happened. But, in the meantime, we are happy to share with you some events for Fall we will be involved with!
September 10 to September 18: DESIGN WEEK RI
We will be hosting a tour September 15 as a part DESIGNxRI programming, the event MIGHT be full, but you can see the link for the full list of free and ticketed events.
The week kicks of 6pm on Thursday, September 10th at Moniker Brewery, free and open to the public.
Thursday, September 17: Star Dot Star 125 Years of Glyph-based Art in Print
Dan will be a part of a panel with Ben Sisto (OPEN), Kevin Driscoll (UVA), and Gabriel Drozdov (RISD) discussing the exhibition and the history and use of the text and glyphs in art making and print - from ancient poetry to ASCII art and contemporary practices.
Exhibit runs August 24 to December 13, opening reception 6pm on Septmber 17th, with the panel discussion beginning at 7pm.
PVD Fest! Saturday, September 19th, 12-6pm
We will be setting up our booth in the Snow Street parking lot as a part of Providence’s annual one day free arts and music festival. We will have prints and goodies for sale, along with our mini-tabletop Kelsey press for you to print that day’s edition of The Linotype Daily, and take it home for FREE - come say hi, make a print, and check out the other vendors!
November 13-25: Boston Art Book Fair!
DWRI letterpress will have a booth showing recent artists’ books and prints in the Cyclorama building in the South End of Boston. Come see an amazing group of Rhode Island, New England, and international book artists, publishers, and printers.

30 Stage Spoons: Measuring an Unhomed Time on exhibit at Betterpress Lab, Rome in March, 2026.
The Book as Art: Ghosted
Georgia Center for the Book, Decatur, Georgia. This is the 14th iteration of the Book as Art exhibition series, with work by artists from around the world, and will be exhibiting the 30 Strange Spoons book.
Opening reception Friday, September 11 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Exhibit runs through October 24, 2026.
Art of the Book and Paper.
This is the 15th year of the Art of the Book exhibition at the Rochester Public Library. AMongst the many other national and internal works, The Linotype Occasionally Vol. 5 and the 30 Strange Spoons will be shown.
